Jesus’ dependence on Father

1. 3v31,32 He that is from heaven is above all. He tells what he has seen and heard.

2. 3v34 He whom God has sent speaks the words of God.

3. 5v19 The Son can do nothing from (apo) himself, but what he sees (blepo)the Father do, for whatever things He does, the Son does likewise. For the Father loves (phileo) the Son, and shows him all things that He himself does.

4. 5v30 I can do nothing from (apo) myself. As I hear, I judge and my judgement is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of the father who has sent me.

5. 6v38 I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

6. 7v16 My teaching is not mine but his that sent me.

7. 7v28 I am not come from (ek) myself, but he that sent me is true, who you do not know. But I know him, for I am from (para) alongside him and he has sent (apostello) me.

8. 8v26 I say to the world those things which I have heard from (para) him.

9. 8v28  I do nothing from (apo) myself, but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me, the Father has not left me alone; for I always do what pleases him.

10. 8v38 I speak that which I have seen (horao) with (para) my Father.

11. 9v4 I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day.

12. 12v49 I have not spoken out of (ek) myself; but the Father who sent me, gave me a commandment, what I should say (eipon – the content/matter/ subject), and what I should speak – (how should say it) – the message and how I should deliver it.

13. 14v10 The words (rhema) that I speak to you, I do not speak from (apo) myself, but the Father who dwells in me does the works.

14. 14v24 the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.

15. 14v31 as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.

16. 17v4 I have finished the work which you gave me to do.

17. 17v8 I have given them the words (rhema) which you gave me.

18. 17v14 I have given them your word.

19. 17v26 I have declared to them your name and will declare it.
